For centuries, the Bedouin tracked the ancestry of each horse through an oral tradition. Horses of the purest blood were known as Asil and crossbreeding with non-Asil horses was forbidden. Mares were the most valued, both for riding and breeding, and pedigree families were traced through the female line. The Bedouin did not believe in gelding male horses, and considered stallions too intractable to be good war horses, thus they kept very few male foals (colts), selling most, and culling those of poor quality.[81] Over time, the Bedouin developed several sub-types or strains of Arabian horse, each with unique characteristics. The strains were traced through the maternal line, not through the paternal.[82] According to the Arabian Horse Association, the five primary strains were known as the Keheilan, Seglawi, Abeyan, Hamdani and Hadban.[83] There were also lesser strains, sub-strains, and regional variations in strain names.[84][85] Thus, many Arabian horses were not only Asil, of pure blood, but also bred to be pure in strain as well, with crossbreeding between strains discouraged, though not forbidden, by some tribes. Purity of bloodline was very important to the Bedouin, and they also believed in telegony, believing if a mare was ever bred to a stallion of "impure" blood, the mare herself and all future offspring would be "contaminated" by the stallion and hence no longer Asil.[86] Carl Raswan, a promoter and writer about Arabian horses from the middle of the 20th century, held the belief that there were only three strains, Kehilan, Seglawi and Muniqi. Raswan felt that these strains represented body "types" of the breed, with the Kehilan being "masculine", the Seglawi being "feminine" and the Muniqi being "speedy".[87]

This was great for crops and workshops to tote around your scrapbook tools and essentials. Comes in a very cute pink & black ensemble. The large and mini totes connect by an O-ring, making it convenient for carrying. I also have a Silent Setter. This is great because there are no limitations on where to set eyelets or holes on a page. Hole punchers only allow you to punch holes around the edging of a paper while the Silent Setter sets you free from that. Great tool with three different hole punch sizes and 3 eyelette sizes. Also included is a handy mini-self healing mat and great carrying case. I have two 1-inch binders filled with pre-cut alphabet letters!! One album has solid colors. Each solid color has two sets of the alphabet in THREE different fonts! The other album has the alphabet letters on printed papers. Each print has the alphabet in the 3 fonts. The prints range from everything from flowers, animal, rain to polka dots!! I counted 50 pages total between the two binders but each page contains at least 2 alphabet sets (the printed papers have 3 sets!). You'll always have great titles for your scrapbook layouts or cards with this set! Please note this is not a brand-new set, I have used some of the letters but there are soooooo many complete alphabet sets I haven't even touched. Lastly I have 24 stencils! A very popular Pierre LeFaguays sculpture / statue titled Diane the Archer. This large sculpture is 86� high, 36� wide and 22� deep and weighs 176 lbs. This sculpture is cast using the lost wax method in bronze and highlighted with patina.

Diana, identified as Artemis in Greek mythology was a goddess of hunting and archery but paradoxically in the confusion of Greek myths she was also the defender of wild animals, children and weak things. During The Renaissance and through the 18th century she became a favorite subject for poets, painters and sculptors who thought of her as the chaste goddess, the moon goddess, the goddess of the hunt. Painters and sculptors usually identified her by the bow which she carried and the quiver of arrows at her side. To imply her striding movement and to depict the delicacy of the bow challenged the skill of the sculptors. The theme of Diana and her following nymphs, perhaps popularized in France by Cellini's Nymph of Fontainebleau (circa 1545), was to have unbroken popularity with French sculptors. Graceful depictions of the goddess were executed by Pilon, Houdon, Rude, Coysevox; Le Faguays, even the American sculptor Saint-Gaudens.

The 6ft pouring table cost me used, $700, I am willing to let it go for $100. I have 3 kilns, a very old small square one, very elementary, 110 volt, shuts off by cones, $25, a wonderful big one that is about 4' tall (on legs) Olympic, model 2827 requires 210v. It works. You turn it to a certain heat and hours and it will go off. It works great. I will let it go for $250. Then I have a least 6-10 bags of dry clay (haven't counted them for a while). I will sell them for half price. I also have molds, mostly of Indians, some very used, a few only used once or twice. Also one or two of horse stuff. All of this is going to be in a garage sale this coming weekend. Make one load and take all. Get a really good deal.

So I have a HUGE piece of a funky floral (muted colors, roses and "cammo" colors), and a small (less than a yard, but still more than a "scrap") piece of bright pink roses on white).
This would be great for crafters, I think it's cotton or cotton blend. I do not want money for the fabric, I just want it gone. I don't want to take it to
a "Goodwill" type place if someone will take it off my hands. I am not driving all over town to get rid of it, and you MUST be willing to pick it up close to my home.
(Probably Starbucks on Laguna in front of Target). I have limited time, so if you are going to give me slim windows of time, I'll have to move down the list.
