Good camera shop in/around Sac? (from Chico)

I'll be heading into Sac this weekend to check out pro dSLRs and wanted to know what some good shops were either in Sac or not too far away? Also, any advice on digital cameras would be helpful; I'm still stuck in the analog era. I'll be doing a lot of travelling, some I'm looking for something that's sturdy, reliable, not too big and still produces great photos. I know that's a tall order, but any ideas would be really helpful. Thanks
