2 long boxes of Comic Books 550 Books (Valley Springs) $200

Up for sale is 2 long boxes of roughly 275 comics each. Both boxes are modern age comics (80's & up).

The first box contains all Dark Horse titles (Ghost, GI Joe, Concrete, The Mask, etc). All are in Near Mint Condition and about 80% are bagged.

There are also quite a few Dark Horse Manga comics including Gunsmith Cats.

The second box is mostly Marvel Comics Spider-Man (Amazing, Spectacualr, etc.) Fantastic Four, X-Men and others.

There are quite a few of the Marvel's 2099 titles as well.

The DC books are mostly Superman related (Action Comics, Adventures of, Man of Steel, etc.).

There are a few independent titles in here but not very many.

The second box contains what I would consider "reader" copies since they are for the most part in Good to Fine condition. They are about 90% bagged.

This is the real thing, invented by infamous Yosemite rock climber Warren Harding for multi day ascents of the vertical rock walls. Harding invented all kinds of stuff with the BAT (Basically Absurd technology) moniker. He dove a Corvette, drank, smoked, broke all the rules and left the climbing world with some great routes that were years ahead of their time (South Face of Half Dome, Wall of Early Morning Light on El Capitan, Leaning Tower, and of course, the first ascent of El Capitan in 1958, The Nose route).

The BAT hammock hangs from a single point and has a foot wall added to keep you from sliding out. It's in pretty good shape, there's one patch on the bottom.

The website www.replacements.com (an online store for new and discontinued dishes) reports that the Luscious line was manufactured from 1991 - 1997, and that Luscious is also known as Pattern #: JJ017. They describe the line as: "LARGE FRUIT ON RIM, BLUE TRIM, WHITE BACK." We really still love the classic design, we just need to downsize as we are moving and have new china.

(8) cup/saucer pairs
(7) 8 3/8" rimmed soup bowls
(1) 7 3/4" salad plate
(6) 8 1/4" salad plate
(1) 11" large salad serving bowl
(1) 8 3/8" mixing bowl
(1) 7 3/8" mixing bowl
(1) 6" mixing bowl

All pieces are gently used, but not more than lightly scratched. Apparently this line was very prone to scratches, so this is to be expected. We used them only for special occasions (Christmas, etc).

On www.replacements.com, our collection is worth $465. Fantastic, but I do not have the patience or desire to sell the pieces individually over eBay. I would like to see the whole collection go to someone (for $200) who IS willing to take the time to sell them properly--you can double your money if the www.replacements.com prices are accurate! Or, I'd like to sell the collection to someone who needs extras of this discontinued pattern. It really is a beautiful pattern.

Antique Figurine Lamps-pair (North Sacramento) $65
