H.O.P.E. Consulting is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as Behavior Therapists. Responsibilities include:
- Provide 1:1 direct instruction in the child’s home or school
- Implement lesson and behavior plans
- Teach appropriate socialization and communication while taking data on progress
- Serve as an integral team member by providing consistent quality service
Therapist education, experience and skills/knowledge requirements include:
- Must be at least 18 yrs old
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Must be able to make a one-year commitment
- Have reliable transportation
- Experience with ABA and working with children diagnosed with autism beneficial

Preschool Teachers
Preschool Teachers implement the educational mission in their classroom, assist the Principal with compliance programs, and communicate closely with parents. Additional responsibilities include lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and classroom management.
• Fully qualified (12 ECE units specified by California social services department)
• 1+ years min. experience working in a Preschool
• Bachelor’s degree (Early Childhood Education) preferred

Program provides:

Location: All throughout the Sacramento Area
About the 1-2-1 Tutoring Program
-Individual in-home tutoring (or at local library)
-Tutoring for students in grades K-12
-Subject areas of Mathematics and Language Arts
-Providing Supplemental Educational Services through the No
Child Left Behind act
-Tutoring takes place afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Essential Responsibilities
-Provide one-to-one tutoring to youth in
the home or public library if the parent prefers
-Ongoing assessment of math and
reading skills of each student.
-Participate in staff and
additional training meetings as needed.
-Complete all paperwork pertinent
to tutoring services in a timely manner.
-Enter tutoring session information online promptly after session is
completed.
-Be prompt and prepared in
attending all scheduled sessions.
-Provide weekly updates
and feedback to project coordinator.
-Keep in regular contact with parents/guardians in order to keep a
consistent tutoring schedule.
Essential Qualifications -Minimum of (15) semester units, or equivalent, with core requirements
(Math, Language Arts) completed with a minimum 2.5 GPA (a
transcript copy will be required).
-Previous experience tutoring or working with youth preferred.
-Able
to provide positive role model for youth and capable of relating to youth.
-Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and check
in with supervisor.
-Must have own transportation, valid driver’s license, willingness to travel in the Sacramento area or specific
areas being served throughout California.
-Must have easy access to a computer and the internet.
-Employment is contingent on passing a
Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint
background check and obtaining a passing Tuberculosis (TB) Test.
Pay Rate
$15 - $18/hr for Tutoring DOE
Part Time
$8/hr for Trainings and Meetings
- Minimum of 12 early childhood education units
- Infant teacher requirement: Completed the course in infant and toddler development
- Teacher requirement: At least 1 year of experience working with assigned age group at a licensed site desired.
