YOU HAVE FIVE (5) PLUS YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A SYSTEM INTEGRATOR WORKING ON CONTROL SYSTEMS AND INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION. YOU HAVE UP TO DATE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH ALLEN-BRADLEY PLC PROGRAMMING. YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE COVER:

Experience must include Allen-Bradley PLC5, SLC500, and ControlLogix.

Experience with Siemens, Modicon, GE Fanuc and others is desirable.

Must be proficient with HMI and operator interface development

Must be proficient with AutoCAD and the generation of electrical and control panel drawings.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Excellent customer relations skills (do you get repeat business?)

Types of projects you have done should include:

Machine control. i.e. palletizers, film wrappers, case packers etc.

Conveying and sortation systems, bar code scanners, etc.

Process control systems including the implementation and tuning of PID loops.

RTU and SCADA systems,

Refrigeration control systems.

In essence, we are looking for Controls Engineers in System Integration who are PLC Programming Specialists with diverse project experience and the ability to learn new systems "on the fly." Must be able to juggle more than one project at a time and still handle emergency service calls. Communication skills must be excellent as evidenced by customer requests for your future service, support and projects in their plant. Bottom line - you get repeat business from customers!

The following position is currently available at Recology Environmental Solutions Inc. in Dixon, California.
TITLE: Landfill & Organics Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides project management and operational support for landfill and composting facilities - fill/operation sequencing, drainage, roadway/access, quality control of operational processes. Serves as project manager on development and facility improvement projects (landfill, brick/mortar, etc.). Assists in the development of leading edge facilities that promote sustainable processes such as anaerobic digestion, landfill gas to electricity, composting and waste processing facilities. Works on permit and related compliance processes (both independently and in consultation with Corporate Environmental group) for ongoing operation of existing and future sites. Interacts with local government officials and regulatory agencies related to environmental and waste management matters. Performs site screening surveys for prospective landfill and organics processing sites. Oversees work performed by environmental consultants to ensure quality control and conformance with budgets. Prepares monthly and quarterly budget projections for regulatory costs.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in an earth science or civil engineering, or equivalent knowledge and experience. At least five years engineering project management experience is required. Experience in landfill design required. Expert knowledge of engineering practices and procedures. Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly. Ability to effectively communicate complex issues to a variety of audiences including public officials, regulatory agencies, and other.
