CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHT: Right now an island of trash twice the size of Texas is floating in the Pacific. This mass of bottle tops and take out food containers kills thousands of marine animals like sea turtles and over a million birds every year. Too much of this trash heap is Styrofoam containers which we don’t need. So we are working to clean up our ocean and make California the first state in the country to ban Styrofoam containers. Hosting provides an excellent learning experience for you and your family. You will be exposed to new cultures, languages and customs and offer your international guest a rich cultural experience.

Short or long-term placements are available, and are tailored to your requirements.
We provide personal support to you during the placement through our homestay coordinators.
You get to expand your international network by meeting interesting people of all ages and backgrounds, and make friends you can visit one day in your own travels. There are many benefits to becoming a host, but we don’t want you to take our word for it – Try it!
Basic Requirements, Roles and Responsibilites
Provide homestay services for international students attending area universities and colleges which include a room, meals, and interaction. We want you to provide a comfortable and safe home and environment that allows the international guest to learn more about life in the United States.
