Who knows what she/he is talking about. She/he's psycho. You are right about the no leash law in Roseville. She/he also says it's not my neighbor's fault??? Huh?? It's okay to "kill" a pet?? Did I miss something???? She/he also does not realize that there has been TWO pomeranian puppies poisoned to death next-door to this neighbor. These puppies were NOT running wild..they were in their owners backyard. Unfortunately, nothing can be done to this man..it's the legal system...no eyewitness and no confession from him. It's truly sad not only for me but also for my other neighbor and the "animals who cross this mans path".

I read what that poster wrote also.. I took it as Laws pertaining to Cats in general. Like there are for dogs. Leash laws, licensing etc. Some Citys and Counties have very strict cat laws.. I think you said you live in Roseville.. They dont have any laws/rules for cats. They are allowed to roam free.
I see that posters point as to the dangers out there, and Im sure the owners who have lost a cat are aware of that as well.. Its a reminder for some and a painful reality for others.

California Penalty for animal cruelty is as follows:

UP TO ONE year in prison and up to $20,000 fine.

There you go...that is the California Penal Penalty for Animal Cruelty. The law is STATE WIDE so if you live in California that's the law. It does NOT vary from city to city!!! It's a shameful law. Personally, I think the people who commit this crime should be punished exactly what that person did to his victim. I'm sure you disagree because according to your post I "allowed" my neighbor to KILL my animals?? You feel stupid yet??

For the past 2 weeks theres been an adorable calico kitten hanging out on around my balcony. Its been coming around at night, when its quiet around here. Being the animal lover that I am, I've been feeding it because it looks thin. I would take it in, but I'm at my limit here in my little apartment with 2 cats and a dog, and 3 birds. They have jumped my fences and taken every single one of my geese. They were nesting and now the eggs are dead and so are they. Damn things.. I even saw them run off with one of the feral cats one night..
My neighbor had he small dog killed right in her front yard. It was ugly.
They are EVERYWHERE! They come into neighborhoods at night, they are stealthy. Keep your pets INSIDE!!!!!!!!! Watch them all the time when outside.
I hate to do it.. but the County Trapper is being called to reduce the numbers...

Cars, dogs, wildlife, people who hate cats, traps, Disease, fights, injurys, poisons, antifreeze.. There is special fencing, just look it up. Cat fence, safe cat fence etc..

She is fixed and has a scar on the lower left side of her left pupil from laser surgery that was performed in December 2007. She is micro-chipped and is small for her age. First and foremost...Thank you for finding and taking the time to pick up lost animals. Remember most of them are lost and for some reason cannot find their way back home. It's wonderful you have opened up your hearts and homes to care for them. Most of them look homeless, but it's a sad reality they are on survival mode. They are scared to death, probably starving and thirsty. They might be very very thin, skidish and shy. But that doesn't mean they don't have a home. They are just lost and want to find their way back home and we are frantically searching to find our beloved family memebers. REMEMBER..WE DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE BUT WE ARE TRYING TO FIND YOU!!! There are a few steps that might be helpful to bring back our family memebers:

1. If you do NOT see any "lost animal" signs around your neighborhood, chances are the lost pet has traveled to another neighborhood. The signs are probably up but not in your neighborhood. Animals can be picked up and "given" to another person in a totally different area...so if you see a "missing animal" ad and it's far away...read and call the ad it might just be the owners pet.

2. If they do NOT have identification collars on they MIGHT lost their collar AND MIGHT be micro-chipped. You can take any pet to any shelter/vet and they can scan the pet for FREE. Make sure the vet checks for ALL types of chips. I've heard there are TWO types of micro chip scan guns.

3. The Sacramento Bee Classified Ads are also FREE to place a FOUND animal advertisement. It's wonderful they offer this but unfortunately most people do not know about this service.

4. Shelters are probably the FIRST place the owners will check. Please make sure you have provided a picture/information etc...Pictures are a must!! Descriptions vary from person to person. Please do your part to reunite our lost family members. I just hope my cat is safe and in a home, like all of you "temporary foster home". Thanks for taking care of all of our lost family members.

Our cockatiel "Ethos" flew out of our house today. She was perched in a neighbor's tree for about an hour before taking flight again. She's about 11" long incl. her tail feathers. She is mostly gray with a splash of yellow going up her face and underneath her tail feathers.

My keys went missing in January and I'm hoping someone may have found them. I can't remember everything that was on them, but I had a large Mazda key, a round and a square GM or GMC key, a Brinks little gold lock key, a house key that was either Walmart or Kwikset brand, and I think a Lane Cedar chest key. I may have had 2 metal keychains on it of a wolf and a cactus. They were all held together by a blue caribeaner climbing type hook. I believe they were left on the car when my friend drove away. His route went from Pomeroy Way in Citrus Heights, to Auburn Blvd, to Sylvan, and then to 80 East to Reno. I'm sure they fell off before the freeway on the turns. There has been several cats that have gone missing in the Citrus Heights, San Juan Ave/ Mariposa Ave area during recent weeks.

Sophie was last seen on Farmhouse Court, but I have heard that there is someone who feeds cats in the apartment complex behind me that Sophie frequently visits.

My Sophie has been missing since April 15th. She had 7 kittens that desperately needed her and she disappeared mysteriously. She has a collar and is microchiped. Her picture is below.

Please look for Zaky. He has been missing since 4/25/08. He could be anywhere!! I fear he is not alive because last summer he was a victim of a deadly & attempted deadly cat crime. Luckily he survived but his sister, Gabby, did not (Gabby is pictured in top RIGHT). Gabby was thrown out of a car and hit by a car in Granite Bay (I live in Roseville). By the grace of God, Zaky was found in Orangevale in the middle of Greenback Lane and Hazel. I fear the same person has done the same crime once again. All I can do is pray Zaky is safe and living it up in a "foster parents" home and they do not realize he is a victim of a cat crime and he does have a home. I just need to find him!!! My biggest fear is this man, who I suspect is responsible for both crimes, killed him. He wasn't successful the first time and he was going to make sure he killed him this time. I tried to get this man prosecuted but without an "Eyewitness and a confession" he was free to kill again and my worst fear is he has killed again!! Got to love how the victims are treated by the judicial system!!!

Zaky is 1 1/2 years old. Zaky is neutered (can't father/no good for breeding). He is micro chipped with Home Again micro chip. Zaky is extremely skinny because he has a horrible heart murmur. His murmur was so bad he was GIVEN to me by a breeder. If you see Zaky in someone's house please let them know he already has a home. If you took Zaky and you are trying to sell him, I am offering $1000 reward. Zaky has NO papers (because I never asked for his papers...the papers did not mean anything to me) and he has a heart murmur ANY vet will hear; so, he will NOT pass the "healthy" pet regulations. I was on my way home and I saw this dog come wandering out of the darkness in the middle of the street.
Kenneth is sort of a busy street even at night and so a few cars came close to hitting him.
It was pretty dark out so his black coat was hard to see.
I decided to grab him before he got hit.
He's an older guy so he can't really run.
He has a cropped tail but long ears like a jack russel, but he has the min pin coloring.
He has a small stalky body, I'd say around 10 lbs.
I took him home with me and on my way I saw another Jack Russel looked pure bred running down the sidewalk and he looked injured but he sprinted away down a side street before I could catch him.
They could have come from the same place, possibly?
The dog I have now has no collar, but he looks like he's been well taken care of so I hope I can get him back to his home.
My dog is extremely posessive of me, so I know he won't be able to stay here for very long.
