� Create project timeline for each event, managing internal staff to keep in strong communication with client on event delivery progress.
� Work with state and local government officials for each required event, maintain working relationship.
� Secure appropriate speakers to mirror content as requested by client.
� Create marketing activities with internal marketing and design departments to ensure appropriate verbiage and client logos on all collateral.
� Coordinate all conference calls/meetings related to each event -- kick off calls, content calls, CIO calls, speaker coordination calls, dry-run calls.
� Decide on and oversee event logistics including: food and beverage, audio visual, promotion, registration, telemarketing, confirmations, etc.
� Oversee all relationships with service vendors -- hotel catering managers, convention service managers, audio visual departments, security, etc.
� Arrange for travel to all events for self in coordination with e.Republic executive.
� Advise sales staff regarding event proposals as necessary.
� Exercise the utmost discretion in all decisions keeping the valuable final product and budgetary implications in mind at all time.
� Coordinate and oversee multiple webinars including all technology, speaker management, registration and final event summaries.

� Work with other e.Republic staff using existing infrastructure and resources available in-house.

Position Summary
Reporting to the V.P. of Sales and Marketing, the Proposal Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and supporting the proposal process, strategic & tactical pricing process and contract review. The Proposal Manager is responsible for establishing departmental objectives, administering and ensuring compliance with Schilling proposal processes, configuration management, managing contract changes and ensuring company's legal protection, administering proposal related resources, preparing proposal related reports, financial summaries, project schedules and Contract kick-off meetings. The Proposal Manager collaborates with department leaders, subject matter experts and support staff to determine proposal specifications and content. �Manage proposal document production (printing, binding, CD Rom creation, shipping, etc.)
�Participate in the management and upkeep of Proposal reference databases within CRM and Sharepoint. Review to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

This position will require you to be on your feet and speak for long periods of time. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver 163lb kegs safely and with proper body mechanics is required. Extensive car travel in Northern California is required, with up to 3 nights/month overnight travel possible. Provides leadership in the development and revision of healthy beverage nutrition education materials targeting youth and adults. Coordinates inventory management for nutrition education materials, both hard copy and electronic. Coordinates with Regional Operations Unit staff and the Communications Unit to maintain an updated listing of materials, including development, translation, design, printing, and production needs.

Develops and maintains a system for tracking completion of key activities and briefs key staff regarding status. Activities to be tracked include completion of campaign deliverables as detailed in the ReThink Your Drink program description, and other projects as needed.

Gathers, tabulates, and analyzes data from a variety of sources, including data provided in over 50 separate files by a variety of Network contractors using Microsoft Excel. Creates tables, graphs, and summaries of data to present to key staff. Evaluates progress against quantitative objectives and identifies trends of regional and local ReThink Your Drink nutrition education initiative implementation. Develops recommendations regarding data collection methods, data points requiring further investigation, data storage, and programmatic implications of data. Ensures that appropriate data is provided to, and gathered from, the Network's Research and Evaluation Unit.

Manages other select projects to ensure timely and successful completion. Coordinates with appropriate Network staff. Oversees work of outside vendors and contractors.

Communicates project goals and plans consistently with multiple stakeholders inside and outside the Network.

Researches articles, newsletters, trade journals, papers, books, and other related resources related to health education, health communications, social marketing, commercial marketing, nutrition education, and/or business practices related to healthy beverage consumption. Compiles and maintains an information resource library and regularly summarizes and shares relevant information with staff.

Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, health promotion, business, or closely related field is required

At least 3 years experience in health promotion/education, health communications, and/or marketing

Some project management experience desirable

Knowledge of social marketing in public health

Knowledge and ability to gather, tabulate and analyze social marketing programmatic data

Excellent writing, analytic and presentation skills, including for professional, business, and low-literacy audiences

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to develop and manage scope of work deliverable tracking system

Ability to interpret data to make programmatic recommendations

This past season, more than 700,000 fans attended River Cats home games. Raley Field has been the toast of the region since its debut in May of 2000. With a seating capacity of 14,014, it features 36 luxury suites, 2,500 club seats, a stadium club, multiple group party areas, children's playground, a giant HD video board and an impressive audio/visual production center.

In addition to our attendance records, we have won four Pacific Coast League Championship (2003, 2004, 2007, 2008), played host to the 2005 Triple-A All-Star Game, won a Triple-A Championship (2007 and 2008) and continue to send many players onto the Major Leagues.

The River Cats & Raley Field is looking for twelve (12) dynamic, driven individuals to complete work in the area of Grassroots Marketing, while assisting the Promotions Team and Advertising Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hours can be flexible; however a minimum of 20 hours per week are requested. Additional duties and assisting various departments will be required as needed. We are looking to hire immediately for the off-season; however we will be offering other in-season internships in February. Length of internship will be determined by hours worked per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work well with clients, fans and staff based on event needs
Willingness to work some nights and/or weekends
