OIS, a leading ophthalmic imaging and informatics company in Sacramento is looking to hire a Marketing Communications Specialists and Media Coordinator. An ideal candidate for this position would have previous medical marketing experience, as well as the ability to create tactical marketing materials on their own using Adobe CS4 applications. With these skills, it is envisioned that this position will be the first line of sales support for OIS and will coordinating the media presence for OIS. The responsibilities for this position will break down into three major categories:

• US SALES SUPPORT
Take approved OIS marketing materials and modify them for individual customers. This will include PPT presentations, small regional direct mail campaigns that are sent from OIS, and support with making materials for proposals. This will also include taking technical documents and preparing them with an appropriate marketing look and feel.

• DISTRIBUTOR SUPPORT
Primary OIS marketing resource for the OIS distributors including coordinating monthly meetings with each distributor (one on one) to see how OIS can better meet their marketing needs. The expectation will be that this position will be able to take OIS approved marketing materials and customize them for each individual distributor using Adobe CS4 assets. This position will also be responsible for communicating the distributor’s trade show needs to the Trade Show and Events Manager and maintaining the Marketing Resource Center.

• MEDIA COORDINATION
Coordination of OIS' tactical marketing activities and distribution of materials to eye care publications. This will include but not be limited to check requests, insertion orders and customizing OIS ad and direct mail materials to meet the print specifications for each project.

• TACTICAL MARKETING
Create limited distribution marketing materials from scratch with minimal direction. These pieces could be electronic or print and will typically be created to support the major marketing message or current campaign.
