This 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan Mean Streak cruiser has 22,500 miles on the clock and is in excellent condition. While its been a fantastic commuter and weekend fun bike, I'm selling it to move over to the sport-touring world. So, it has to go to a good home. It's never been laid down, dropped, or crashed and was always parked in the garage.

It's equipped with Kawasaki's 1500cc V-twin engine, 5-speed transmission, shaft drive, and front & rear disc brakes. Custom features include a Mustang seat, backrest for the passenger, a small luggage rack over the rear fender, Jardine mirrors, Jardine grips, and a single-pocket tank bra that comes in handy for storing the garage door opener, maps, change, and small doo-dads.

The previous owner replaced the ugly factory OEM license plate/turn signal assembly with an LED turn signal bar that's flush-mounted under the rear fender. The license plate has been moved to a lighted, chromed side mount. I'm 6'3", 250lbs, so I installed a set of Jardine forward controls and a set of heavy-duty Progressive Suspension rear shocks. This bike is perfect for the tall rider, especially someone over 6 ft.

It will probably need a new battery and brake pads within the next year but both are still in good shape. The Bridgestone Exedra tires have about 4000 miles on them and have been wearing much better than the crappy OEM Dunlops. Another reason that I'm selling it is the insurance and registration are due by the end of December. I figured that since I'm already shopping for a new bike, I might as well sell it now. I also have an OEM windshield, bike cover, and shop manual that comes with the bike.

So, to demo this bike, please bring $4500/OBO in cash and a valid motorcycle license. Thanks for viewing.
