•	Production Scheduling – Collaborate with Master Scheduling to create finite production schedules for assigned business units, balancing product supply and demand requirements with efficient utilization of plant assets and labor. <br>
•	Configure and utilize MRP to drive production scheduling and materials release schedules<br>
•	Material Planning – Manage standard and blanket Purchase Orders and releases for  material in support of production plans <br>
•	Monitor receipts of materials to support production plans, expedite shipments as required.  Minimize short lead orders and expediting through continuous improvement / configuration of MRP parameters<br>
•	Reduce cost – Establish economic order quantities, responsible for obsolescence and days of supply/ inventory turn targets<br>
•	Maintain accurate records for items or services purchased costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.<br>
•	Purchasing – Negotiates with selected local suppliers for sourcing agreements.  Establish “best cost” terms of sale and delivery <br>
•	Supplier relations – Assists in the vendor approval process, developing alternate sources, evaluating vendor performance.  Establish delivery schedules.  Acts as plant liaison to resolves quality, delivery and service issues with suppliers. The Production Supervisor is the key manufacturing leader reporting to the Production Manager. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing departmental production operations during an assigned operating shift.<br>
MAIN DUTIES:<br>
The Production Supervisor is responsible for resource planning and production execution in a specific department on the shift. This includes such things as follows:<br>
<br>
•	Ordering of raw materials needed to complete scheduled production quantities<br>
•	Overseeing department production input/outputs including:<br>
o	Material usage<br>
o	Line production rates<br>
o	Adherence to product specifications<br>
o	Labor usage<br>
•	Oversees critical maintenance issues affecting department productivity<br>
•	Monitors product quality issues and coordinates with Quality Control and the Manufacturing Manager to ensure out-of-spec conditions are swiftly and positively corrected and defects contained.<br>
•	Monitors personnel practices for GMP compliance and takes appropriate corrective actions.<br>
•	Monitors personnel compliance to all policies and procedures and takes appropriate corrective actions.<br>
•	Coaches and develops Team Leaders and production staff to build a strong team.<br>
•	Evaluate manufacturing systems and process procedures, seeking continuous improvement. Suggests and implements department improvement ideas that enhance product quality, cost and efficiency, manufacturing process variance control and personnel practices.<br>
•	Coordinates the exchange of vital information from one shift to the next to ensure a seamless transition of the department.<br>
•	Completes daily operational reports as requested by the Production Manager.<br>
•	Reviews and validates daily time and attendance for all department employees assigned to the shift.<br>
•	Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.<br>

•	Must have a proven progression of leadership positions in a manufacturing environment. Baking industry experience is preferred.  A degree in a related or applicable field is highly desired, but industry experience will be considered. Industry technical training (such as AIB courses) is highly recommended.•	Acts as the responsible on-floor leader in the department during the assigned shift. Direct reports include all team leaders on the shift as well as the other departmental employees. •	Must have a proven progression of leadership positions in a manufacturing environment. Baking industry experience is preferred.  A degree in a related or applicable field is highly desired, but industry experience will be considered. Prioritize multiple tasks, managing conflicting deadlines, and working effectively in a dynamic environment.<br>
Analysis-level analytical skills necessary to assess information and apply judgment in decision making.<br>
Exemplify effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.<br>
Intermediate level skill working with ERP (i.e SAP, Oracle, Baan, etc.), and MS Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.<br>

• Continuously monitor all assigned machines and performance of operators to ensure quality and run speed standards are being met.<br>
• Ensure proper machine efficiency anticipating any possible problems.<br>
• Ensure all change parts are cleaned and returned to parts cage or other assigned areas at completion of order. <br>
• Relay any special instructions or important information pertaining to machine performance to next shift upon their arrival.<br>
• Monitor machine shut downs where applicable to ensure proper wash up of machines at end of shift; ensure work area is clean. <br><br>REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:<br>
• The minimum education required for this position is high school diploma or equivalent <br>
• High degree of mechanical aptitude and previous assembly/production experience required. <br>
• Two years mechanical experience preferred but not required. <br>
• Willingness to work overtime as needed. <br>
• May be required to move from shift to shift periodically as required for training. <br>
• The minimum related language skills required for this position is the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Our Assemblers perform very detailed assembly functions associated with back-end manufacturing functions to produce mission critical products and devices. Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination is essential to operate tools and equipment to perform functions such as die attach, wedge bonding, bond coupling and gap welding. <br>
<br>
The outstanding candidate we seek will be responsible for, but not limited to, these responsibilities: <br>
<br>
•Perform repetitive Mechanical and/or Thin film assembly operations in support of production projects. <br>

•Assemble, modify, and rework production components / sub assemblies utilizing process documentation (drawings) and Bill of Materials. <br>
•Proficient in use of basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to (non/ powered) screw drivers, tweezers. Solder iron, crimper, wire strippers, hot plates and microscopes.  <br>
•Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities. Maintains productive working relationships with all team members.  <br>
•Performs other duties as assigned by manager with minimal supervision. <br>
<br>
Qualifications:  <br>
	
•Proficiency in Die Attach, Manual or Auto bond. <br>
•Excellent hand eye coordination. (Manual dexterity). <br>
•Ability and proficiency in using a microscope to monitor assembly progress and quality. <br>
•Proficient in reading process documentation (Assembly drawings and BOMS). <br>

Work closely with Customer-Interface teams (Account Managers and Fulfillment Co-ordinators) to fully understand planned volumes to be manufactured in Sacramento and then participating in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings with other Materials Managers and executing MRP for the builds.<br>
Creation, Rescheduling, Amending and Canceling of Purchase Orders inline with build requirements.<br>
Work closely with the global Strategic Procurement  team in establishing USA supplier base for specific commodities. This will involve close management of specific suppliers, with objective to minimize costs while getting maximum flexibility for our client<br>
Management of all expense orders in relation to the general running of the manufacturing facility. This will involve the raising and receipting of purchase orders for a variety of goods and services. <br>
Manage and control the overall materials movement within the site to maintain accuracy and accountability<br>
Ensure proper warehousing of materials, and ensure inventory accuracy through industry practice of cycle count audit, periodic physical inventory etc.<br>
Ensure timely shipment of  product in line with the committed date given to the customer.<br>
Ensure management of job objectives and career development for those staff reporting directly to you. <br>

Management Duties and Responsibilities -<br>

Our Assemblers perform very detailed assembly functions associated with back-end manufacturing functions to produce mission critical products and devices. Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination is essential to operate tools and equipment to perform functions such as die attach, wedge bonding, bond coupling and gap welding. <br>

The outstanding candidate we seek will be responsible for, but not limited to, these responsibilities: <br>
<br>
-Perform repetitive Mechanical and/or Thin film assembly operations in support of production projects. <br>
-Assemble, modify, and rework production components / sub assemblies utilizing process documentation (drawings) and Bill of Materials. <br>
-Proficient in use of basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to (non/ powered) screw drivers, tweezers. Solder iron, crimper, wire strippers, hot plates and microscopes. <br>
-Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities. <br>
-Maintains productive working relationships with all team members. <br>
-Performs other duties as assigned by manager with minimal supervision. <br>
<br>
Requirements <br>
-Proficiency in any TWO of the following: Mech Assembly, Solder, Die Attach, PnP operations, Manual or Auto bond. <br>
-Excellent hand eye coordination. (Manual dexterity). <br>
-Ability and proficiency in using a microscope to monitor assembly progress and quality. <br>
-Proficient in reading process documentation (Assembly drawings and BOMS). <br>
-Familiarity with electrical and mechanical tools. <br>
-Acute attention to detail. <br>
-Follow all recommended safety measures. <br>
-High School diploma or equivalent preferred. <br>
-Minimum ONE year necessary. TWO years of assembly experience preferred. <br>
-Must have the legal right to work in the U.S. <br>

<description><![CDATA[Macro Plastics, Inc., a large-scale plastics injection molding company with locations in Fairfield, CA, Union Gap, WA, and satellite facilities across the country and internationally has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician.<br>
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining large scale hydraulic molding machines is required. The successful candidate will be a strong hydraulics troubleshooter with experience in all phases of repair of injection molding machine hydraulic systems. An understanding of electrical and pneumatic control and power systems is also necessary. Experience with Italtech two barrel machines is highly desirable.  The ability to troubleshoot in a PLC environment would be a plus. The candidate would also need to be computer literate, and be experienced with Windows, and Microsoft Office.<br>
