Sac. has given birth to many different bands. The Deftones, Pappa Roach, the list goes on. Isn't it time to have a successful band out of Sac from a different Genre?

About us- I have been playing the drums for 17 years, and the guitarist/singer has been on tour with some big name Fat Wreck-Chord bands such as Good Riddance, Ignite, and many others. Together, we have well over 30 years of experience, yet are still pretty young. I'm 28 and the guitarist is 30.

Our major influences include; Rise Against, Strung Out, NOFX, Atreyu as well as Thrice (Many others, but I don't feel like typing them all out).

We are looking for a musician that will complement our current skill set. If you are not into our influences, I think that checking us out would be in your best interest. We are very open minded and understand that success can not be accomplished by copying others ideas. Having an open mind is crucial to the development of any new sound, and I encourage everyone to listen to our material to decide for yourself whether you could make a positive contribution, or not.

Looking for acoustic (unplugged - no amplification at all) musicians to perform at weekly Urban Farm Stand events. The Urban Farm Stand project is a joint project of Alchemist Community Development Corporation and Sacramento Mutual Housing Association. It is a food access program to bring convenient and affordable access to fresh fruits and vegetables to low income and underserved communities. In order to make the Urban Farm Stand events more of a vibrant community serving event, we would like to incorporate music, performances and fun activities. The event takes place in a public park (J. Neely Johnson - F & 11th) so there is no access to electricity, hence no amplification. This weekly event is every Tuesday from 4-7pm continuing through October 28.

Hi, we're a mostly blues band seeking an exprienced, mature, accomplished guitar player. ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE STRONG RHYTHM GUITAR SKILLS, also must be able to add tasty fills and play lead; also some singing (backup/harmony, lead vocals). Must be familiar with the blues idiom and styles. We are already in rehearsal, have a rehearsal space in Rio Linda, practice weekly on Monday nights.
