My name is Heather and I live in a 4-bedroom 2000 sq. ft. home in Natomas (built in 2003) with my husband and 17 month old daughter.
We really wanted a big house, but didn't realize how much extra room we were going to have. I work full time and my husband has been a stay at home dad for about 6 months. There are 2 bedrooms that are currently not being used for nothing but our 2 computers and a bed in the other one for guests (If a full size bed is needed you're welcome to use the guest one). There is also a bathroom between the 2 rooms that we never even go in. We were thinking of renting one out for $500 or both for $700(comcast cable box, wireless internet, and utilities included). Both rooms are on the opposite side of the house than our master and my daughter's room. One of the rooms is pretty big with a very roomy closet and the other is smaller (perfect 4 a child's room). In the middle of both rooms is the bathroom. We are not looking for multiple roommates so if you just rent the big room for $500, we'll turn the other into an office.
We are extremely responsible people and we are easy going. My husband and I are very young (22 and 20) and we do not like to have people over usually unless it's our parents visiting. We are still fairly new to the Sacramento area and do not have many friends. We travel to the Bay Area almost every weekend to see family and friends. We don't party but drink socially with family once in awhile. We like to play games (video games/board games)and watch movies.

We are looking for someone responsible an easy going and doesn't like to have friends over all of the time. Perferably a single mother or father with a young child or maybe a nice couple. Gay/straight doesn't matter. We are pretty friendly, down to earth, and easy to get along with. We don't want anyone too uptight, snobish, or fake. We aren't snobs or slobs, were in the middle!! We let our daughter play with her toys around the house, or we leave the laundry in the dryer overnight. We are not neat freaks, but we have a nice tidy house. We are just looking into helping someone out and paying extra bills at the same time. We want someone we can trust. Please no dogs, but a friendly cat or kitten should be ok. We have a kitty door that goes into the garage. Hopefully the kitty is nice becuase ours is declawed and cannot fight back : (
If you are looking for a very quiet family or work graveyard shift, this may not be the right house for you. We usually stay up until about 11pm or so watching TV or going online. We are your everyday family I guess you could say!!
