The Database Administrator reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of all Lumens data sources, both in-house and hosted elsewhere.
The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following technical Database Administrator skills:
expert at SQL-type queries
ability to manipulate data in Excel or Access
complete understanding of data mapping, import and export
expert at report customization
duplicate record management
setting up custom records and data forms
The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following Project Management skills:
recommend and project-manage new business processes using inside resources and/or outside suppliers
fully test modifications to business processes
ability to report on goals and objectives in a timely manner
Bachelors degree in computer science, information science, or management information systems (MIS). 3+ years experience in e-commerce. Broad knowledge and experience related to computer systems and technologies, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Netsuite and/or Filtered Navigation website indexing ideal, but not required.
