Systems analyst is responsible for researching, planning and recommending software and system choices to meet an organization's business requirements.
Systems analysts may act as a liaison between vendors and the organization they represent. They may be responsible for developing cost analyses, design considerations, and implementation time-lines. They may also be responsible for feasibility studies of a computer system before making recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Translating financial analysis and reporting needs into working queries, reports, OLAP data models and support of all system analysis needs
- Coordinating design, development and testing of reports between corporate office and segments/business units
- Ensuring accuracy of reports prior to release to production
- Building analytical and reporting tools needed for management reviews
- Designing, developing and testing queries and reports in MS-SQL, Business Objects, MS Excel, PS 8.4/8.9 and other systems
You must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Information System
- 5 years’ experience in systems reporting and business intelligence/data
modeling
- Advanced computer skills including MS SQL, MS Analysis Service, Business
Objects, Cognos or Hyperion Essbase/Enterprise; MS Excel 2007; integrated
ERP system reporting; Query tool; nVision Reporting and PeopleSoft 8.4/8.9
