General Description- Responsible for performing testing of ASP.NET and SharePoint application software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·Develops, implements, maintains and enhances test plans, test scripts and test methodologies.
·Stays current with requirement changes during development phases. Creates, maintains and executes test plans.
·Executes comprehensive test plans for assigned projects to verify applications function according to requirements and conform to established guidelines.
·Documents test results and works with development team to correct defects.
·Creates detailed problem definitions in defect tracking system. Coordinates defect resolution and re-testing.
·Maintains defect-tracking environment. Generates release metrics for management review.
·Responsible for managing the Customer support process. This will include screening customer support calls to prioritizing incidents and tracking resolution bugs.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
·3-5 years of software quality assurance experience on web applications.
·Experience writing test cases, test plans and defect reports
·Strong critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications and interpersonal interactions.
·Be self-motivated.
·Knowledge of Lotus Notes application development or maintenance highly recommended
·Travel required 10% to 20%
·SharePoint testing experience required.
