The Java Technical Consultant will be involved in various aspects of the full life cycle of technical projects including analysis, requirements/scope, specifications, test plans, implementation process and support when applicable. This person must be able to listen and communicate effectively with users to understand business processes and requirements, and must have top notch problem solving skills in order to develop and implement appropriate solutions. This candidate must be able to function independently or as a member of a consulting team. Also be very versatile since he or she will be working on mutiple projects.
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience in the following areas is necessary:
Server programming including:
- Java/J2EE development skills
- Java Servlets
- EJBs or Hibernate
- Strut
- JSP, and JDBC
- Web Services
- Any Application Server
- Database experience with Oracle
- Developing functions, views and stored procedures
