For more than 25 years, Westin Engineering, Inc. (Westin) has been providing professional services to guide water, wastewater, public works, electrical utilities and other public agencies to optimize processes, retain knowledge, meet compliance requirements, serve customers and improve asset life.
The Senior Consultant is responsible for providing technical consulting and management of IT improvement programs for clients in the water, wastewater and solid waste industries.
Responsibilities include project planning, scope management, project change control, schedule and budget management, project team management, risk and issue management, communications management and quality management. Projects may involve requirements definition, COTS software selections, software implementation, integration, conversion, training, deployment and continuing support.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing Westin project performance and delivery while achieving customer expectations.
- Customer Information System (CIS) responsibilities include Billing System implementation, testing, routing, and acting as advisor to the client concerning their CIS System
- Responsible for providing scope and cost control, complying with Westin Quality Standards
Job Requirements
- 7 plus years experience in the following:
- Implementation of CIS systems for water, wastewater, Municipalities or city environment, electric power utility will be considered
- Project Planning and Control
- Business Process Improvement
- Working with established project management methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- B.S. in Business, Information Technology or Engineering or related field, advanced education degree a plus, registered professional a plus
- Strong skills with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, experience with business process modeling tools a plus
