Description/Job Mission Statement
We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Analyst to provide support in the testing of websites and applications through creation and execution of test plans, test cases and scripting. This involves working closely with management and the development team to translate functional specifications complete UI and data test cases to support our current and future product offerings and identify any and all defects before release.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Working closely with development team to ensure quality of internal and external applications through testing
Use software development lifecycle tools and methodologies through QA process
Ensure quality assurance practices, procedures and audits
Participate in automated load testing, acceptance and regression testing
Implement and maintain bug tracking application to manage application bugs
Assist in the build and release control processes for Clear Capital applications, occasionally requiring being available outside of normal business hours
Participate in testing prioritization
Set schedule estimates, timelines and milestones
Required Job Related Skills and Experience
BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Requires a minimum of 3 years of software quality assurance testing experience
Knowledge of testing methodology, automated test/load tools are required, Mercury QTP is a plus
SQL experience is a plus
Knowledge for bug tracking systems required
Experience creating functional and technical documentation
Strong technical problem solving skills
Solid understanding of the software testing life cycle
Additional Qualifications
Be able to maintain enthusiasm of their team and promote a positive atmosphere while communicating the need for improvements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with SharePoint is a plus
The ability to manage changing priorities within a highly dynamic environment
