I'm really not interested in meeting women that are married and looking for an affair. I'm also really not looking for a romantic relationship right now, and definitely not a one night stand at all.

A little about me. I've had a lot of people tell me I'm the most complicated person they've ever known. I'm extremely introspective and can see good and bad in everything. I can debate for or against any position. Every snap judgment anyone's ever made about me had been horribly wrong. Because of that, I tend not to bust out with the labels too soon when I meet someone--ie, what religious, political, etc, beliefs I ascribe too. I have my opinions, but none of those boxes fit me well. I can say that I can spend hours hanging out with a homeless person(as I've done) and been fascinated by their stories. I can also feel at ease hanging out with millionaires(I have two that I'm related to). I've been a professional musician for a lot of years. I've been an elementary school teacher. I was a bar bouncer for a while and professional journalist. I was working in the housing industry as the economy started to sour. So I decided to go back to college to get a second BA, this time in Computers to do something more "recession proof" and stable. Heh, a big reason why I'm not looking to date right now is because I'm not working steady and I'm spending a lot of time studying. I don't have a problem meeting women at college, but saying, "No really, I just want to be friends. Want to get coffee sometime?" just doesn't seem to work. It's like women don't believe us guys when we say, "No really, just friends." Like there's no way we could just want that.

I'm pretty intellectually minded, but fairly charismatic and good at making people laugh in person. I love learning about people and hearing a wide range of ideas and perspectives. In either case, thanks for reading.

My co-workers are all either way older than myself or way younger. And the ones in my age group are married and preoccupied with family. I don't go out alone so meeting someone that way is not available to me. So, I thought I'd try this method of meeting people to see what happens.

I am somewhat happily single and not sure about entering the ring of romance, but occassionally it would be nice to have a gentleman's company to watch television with and laugh. I have a very outgoing and spontaneous personality so I'd like to meet people who aren't tied down with overly busy lives. Something I haven't done in a few months is winetasting and I'd love to meet someone more experienced at it than myself (I've only gone once) to teach me the ropes.
