Job Description:
Help desk and technical support position for Adcon products for industry applications in agricultural, irrigation, and various environmental monitoring. This position is a key member of our customer support team to ensure customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by providing fast, accurate and effective support to Adcon's strategic partners and end clients. Responsibilities include telephone support, e-mail support, hardware/software troubleshooting, hardware repair, inventory management, and occasional installation services for Adcon's state of the art radio data collection networks and proprietary SCADA software.
Qualifications:
Individual must be detail oriented with knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC hardware, modems, and MS office suite. Previous experience with technical support/help desk, electronic assessment & repair preferred. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, agronomy, bilingual English/Spanish, and radio telemetry a plus. Good communication skills, valid driver’s license, and flexible travel schedule are required. Passport required for international travel.
Position is based out of Adcon's Davis, CA office. Support duties can include travel within US, Canada, and occasionally Central & South America. Training on radio hardware, SCADA software, and various industry applications will be provided.
