The site is straight forward, limited to 10 or so pages, but is highly realistic looking and needs an artist who can create and manipulate photorealistic graphics in layers and have it all work on all browsers - so CSS mastery is an absolute must - as is a bit of javascript here and there.  <br>
<br>
The back end is ruby on rails, so it's a plus if you've worked with it, but not necessary - more important that you can really handle the art and css challenges.  Our engineer knows css and javascript so he'll be able to help get the files in the right place, and give you feedback.<br>
<br>
Requirements and notes:<br>
<br>
This isn't a boiler plate site - we can't (and wouldn't use one) so don't suggest it.<br>

Primary duty responsibilities for this position include design and layout, programming, storyboard development, and evaluation of interactive web-based lessons using ASP, Action Script, JavaScript, HTML, XML, audio, video, and database applications for pilot and sensor operator academic training courses. Individual coordinates with the Training Manager, Curriculum Developer, Graphic Artist, Lead CBT Developer, and Subject Matter Expert to plan, prototype, and develop interactive training products using programming logic and the latest development software and methodologies. <br>

The CBT Developer utilizes a wide variety of multimedia technologies, including web-based programming tools, data entry portals, and other development applications for the design, production, and implementation phases of self-paced training products and interactive quizzes and test applications to conform to contract and customer training requirements. The developer works closely with instructors and the Air Force community and assumes a key role as database administrator for the classified/non-classified student learning centers. The developer is routinely tasked with MS Access data and program file upload, troubleshooting and content maintenance, file download, and analysis of student training records and related applications. <br>

Requirements: <br>
Individual must be a U.S. citizen and be able to hold a Secret security clearance. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency with shared development tools including MS Access, Adobe Flash CS3, MS Office, and related programming and MS IIS web hosting applications, and have experience in creating web-based, computer-based, distance learning, or other instructional training programs. <br>

A Bachelors degree in a related field is required. Employee is required to work effectively as an individual contributor as well as a functioning member of a larger team of curriculum developers, programmers, and graphic artists. <br>

<description><![CDATA[The San Juan Unified School District seeks an experienced Webmaster with broad Web application development, content management and analytics expertise to investigate Web-related business needs, recommend solutions and provide Web design, .NET/PHP development and routine maintenance in support of the districts strategic communications and technology goals.<br>

The Webmaster works with district administration and school site staff to implement and incorporate new features and updates on existing Internet, Intranet and related sites, to create, edit and publish district Web pages and sites, and to monitor the day-to-day operation of the Web sites, including the transfer, testing and updating of Web materials.<br>
<br>
The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in the application of current and emergent Web technologies and standards including Web content management tools, XHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, Flash, ActionScript, .NET, PHP, Cold Fusion, Web 2.0 tools, electronic newsletters, Web accessibility, Web analytics, Web security and database-driven Web application development.<br>
