I have a small publication located in Sacramento, CA that is all about music art and urban culture. We cover a variety of subjects as well as genres of music and urban art. My business also has a public realtions section in which we work with musicians/bands, visual artists and independent businesses on organizing and promoting events through public relation services.

Although the writing position is not paid at this time, with assistance in marketing, very soon writers will be paid.

The public relation position, however is paid and duties include locating, contacting and adding new clientelle as well as writing content for press kits, contacting media sources [radio, print media and online media], online research, editing, some graphic design, networking, booking events/consignment/gallery showings and stuffing folders.
