Bookkeeper (Dixon)

compensation: Competitive DOE
employment type: full-time

We are an established, ag-based company looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our team.

The primary responsibilities of this position will be:

• Accounts Receivable and accounts payable data entry: invoicing/billing, verifying and entering invoice for payments, prepare check run, post accounts receivable payments, run monthly statements
• Prepare all pre-liens, lien releases, and liens when instructed
• Process biweekly payroll for approximately 50 employees. Obtain approvals for timesheets from managers, prepare worksheet to submit to outsourced payroll company
• Identify/track and submit all necessary documents for construction/prevailing wage projects
using LCP Tracker, and uploading reports to DIR website
• Assist with HR duties as needed
• Assist with general clerical duties
• Assist in other projects as needed

Qualifications and Experience recommended:

• Bookkeeping Certificated program or higher
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in A/R and A/P accounting duties
• Knowledge of MAS 200/Sage a plus, but not required
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Pass applicable background check
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Very punctual with a strong work ethic
• Self-starter, eager to learn and take on new task
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Spanish speaking a plus
