1. Audit Associates:

We are a CPA firm headquartered in the greater Sacramento, CA area looking for people that are self-starters, great communicators. This position does not require traveling to clients’ offices. An auditor position not requiring travels to clients’ offices is almost non-existent.

The Audit Associate's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Participate in internal control interviews and perform walk-through of key internal control processes by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation, and updating internal control write-ups.
Performing substantive audit procedures such as comparing items to supporting documentation/audit confirmations, etc.
Completes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by completing assigned tasks, communicating results to managers/partners timely, and providing assistance to others on the audit team as needed.
Assist with compiling preliminary draft of financial statements.
Assist with office duties.

The Audit Associate must meet the following requirements:
0-3 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business or related fields.
Attention to Detail
Thoroughness
Presentation Skills
Objectivity
Ability to multitask and work both independently and on a team.
Ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:
CPA/CPA Candidate
Experience auditing employee benefit plans
Experience drafting financial statements
Fluent in English. Fluency in Korean helpful by not required.

2. Office Assistant

We are accepting resumes for an office assistant for the firm's HQ office. As a primary responsibility, the successful candidate will serve as the assistant to auditors in the firm providing support as needed. Candidates must be strongly detail oriented and self-motivated but also able to work as a member of a team, and have strong MS Excel skills. General PC and Adobe Acrobat knowledge is required. Candidates must also have the ability to multi-task to effectively balance the multiple responsibilities of this position. Previous experience working in CPA firm or similar office environment is strongly preferred. Strong, professional communication skills (Email and Phone) are needed.
