Long, on "Bertha" to his Grace , Duke of Beaufort R. G. Text reads, “This portrait is by permission respectfully dedicated by his obliged Servants. Wm & Hy Barraud (William & Henry)” - Painted by W&H Barraud Engraved by Edw.Hacker. This reproduction is the restrike of the original engraving i.e. a new plate which exactly duplicates the artists work. It is then carefully colored in by hand in order to achieve a beautiful, decorative effect. Very good condition - Overall a great piece for your collection. Engraving is in Perfect condition
