This is truly a WORK OF ART! It is an antique or vintage Oriental/Chinese Wall/Room Divider and it is just GORGEOUS! HAND APPLIED 3 dimensional and HAND CARVED MOTHER OF PEARL! WONDERFUL PASTEL COLORS and GREAT DETAIL! The birds, flowers and all of the MOTHER OF PEARL are DETAILED and are The screen is made of wood with black lacquer and the trim is HAND PAINTED with intricate gold designs. It is just STUNNING!! It measures 71 ½” tall, 71” wide and 17 ¾” each panel width. It has brass plated hardware including covering feet, brass plated hinges to connect the screens together. Condition is very good. I don’t see any of the birds, leaves or flower pieces broken off. It has some small chips on the corners of the screen with some being touched up and some cracks there. One area in the corner of the BACK of the screen has been repaired. It has hairline cracks on the corner panels on both sides but this is a very old piece and it is not perfect but they are not very noticeable because of all that’s going on. If this screen was perfect it would be worth A fortune! Please examine all photos carefully and if you have any questions please message me.
