*** Note: Before you buy any clock, you might want to make sure that it's been repaired. Most sellers just say it runs and then when you get it home it may run for a little while and then it stops. Then you may have to pay a lot to get it repaired, sometimes more than you paid for the clock. Most (99%) of my clocks have been taken apart and repaired, thus saving you probably more than if you had to have it repaired.
STUNNING ANTIQUE JEROME NEW HAVEN
This is an Antique American made movement with English case. CIRA.1890.
EXTENSIVELY INLAID WALL CLOCK.
The movement is stamped “E Ingraham Clock Company
The label say Jerome (see picture)
The clock strikes (counts) the hours on a bell
It has an New Haven Eight day movement, which means you just wind it once a week.
The case is approx. 24”tall by 16” wide by 4.5” deep.
This clock case and movement is in good condition.
Included in the purchase is the key and pendulum.
The movement was recently professionally cleaned (ultra-sonically), oiled, 2 mainsprings and 12 bushings were added where needed. (A $267 value by itself)
It keeps excellent time. This clock should be able to run for many years to come, without additional service.
