Antique 1904 Singer Sewing Machine – Family Heirloom with Levi’s Factory History
This is an original 1904 Singer sewing machine passed down from my great-grandmother, who was a seamstress at the Levi’s factory in San Francisco. According to family lore, she was so devoted to her craft that she “died with a needle in her arm” — a poetic (and slightly haunting) nod to a life spent in service of the stitch.
This machine is in working condition but will need a new needle and leather drive belt to be fully functional. It’s an incredible piece of history and craftsmanship — built to last over a century and still going strong.
Perfect for collectors, vintage décor enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates the grit and grace of early American industry.
Condition:
• Works when belt and needle are replaced
• All parts move freely
• Original finish and patina
• Wear consistent with age
Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of Levi’s factory history and a true symbol of American workmanship.
