RARE vintage Industrial Magnifier Magnifying Machinist Jeweler Watchmakers Lamp Light with a magnifier lens. It is an industrial style machinist, watchmaker or jewelers lamp light for working on small items. This is a heavy well built piece. Has manual preheat push button starter buttons that work as designed. It is made of a cast metal and weighted. It weighs almost 8.5 pounds. The lamp swivels and has an adjusting arm so that it can be moved into different heights and positions for doing your fine work. The fluorescent lamps work as designed and has two new bulbs as shown. It has a large 2" X 4" magnifier lens. The glass lens is in excellent condition (although the photos, because of the lighting and my camera, show what appears to be an imperfections , the glass is actually in excellent condition with no imperfections). The height of the lamp at max height is about 20 inches. It sits on a 6 inch round base that stays nice and steady because of the weight. The width of the light shade is about 6-3/4" inches. This is in very good working solid condition. There are no breaks. The surface of the metal just has very light signs of ware and is in excellent condition.I do not know the power of the magnifying lens but it seems adequate for doing work on small pieces. The cord is also in very good condition.
