We tested several before landing on this because it is the lightest and easiest to use, while still being incredibly safe and from the leader in car seats, Graco.
The base of the car seat stays in the car and the car seat easily clicks out and snaps securely onto the stroller in a second.
Then, when the child is older, the stroller has belts so the baby can ride in it without the car seat.
The car seat is the Snug Ride Lite LX that is "Protect Plus Engineered". Light usage, no damage and never in an accident. About 2 years old, so 8 years left on its suggested lifespan.
The Stroller is the Modes Element stroller. Very lightweight and folds very flat with 1 button for your trunk. Again, light usage.
You get the car seat, the base and the stroller. This is one of the lightest set ups available. Extremely convenient.
All come from a smoke free home and only our baby used them (we bought this set new).
