I bought these 2 Bike Friday folding bikes (Pocket Llamas) 12+ years ago. I tried all the top-quality folding bikes at that time, and the Bike Friday was the only brand that didn't feel like a clown bike. In fact, Bike Fridays ride like fine road/trail bikes. Safe, solid, reliable, and very responsive.
Unfortunately, soon after I bought them, I became unable to ride them. The bikes have sat in safe, dry storage ever since. One remained in the Samsonite suitcase it came in. The other in the box it was shipped in, never opened. Both bikes have had very little wear. Each of the bikes has just been completely serviced and tuned by an expert bike technician, and is in tip-top shape and ready to ride. They are being sold as-is, fully serviced, set up and rideable.
I'm asking $900 (OBO) for each gently-used bike (new ones are $2400 each!). The bikes are stored at Bear Valley Ski Resort, CA. Arrangements to demo ride the bikes can be made. Delivery is negotiable.
The Samsonite suitcase for air travel is for sale separately for $100. To fit into the suitcase, a Bike Friday requires minor disassembly following a detailed procedure (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKxUI5etm4U). The Samsonite suitcase trailer also comes fully assembled by an expert technician, with all parts necessary to convert it into a road-worthy trailer that attaches to a Bike Friday. The trailer can attach to either Bike Friday.
