Beautiful Rivendell all-road lugged steel bike. Made in Waterford, Illinois by Richard Schwinn and painted by Joe Bell. This is an exquisite bike that has always been stored indoors and professionally maintained. A couple of years ago I had it disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled by the Bicycle Business.
This is a very capable bike. It is fabulous on the roads, but it also handles gravel and double- and single-track that isn't too advanced. I rode it fully loaded for five days on the Great Divide Mt. Bike Route through Montana and it performed wonderfully.
Currently set up with Nitto Bullmoose bars and Silver friction shifters with a lovely drillium crankset from Velo Orange. I also have matching drilled drop-down brake levers and bar-end shifters if you wish to set it up with drops. (I have a bunch of other Nitto/Riv handlebars that we can swap out if you have one that you especially like.)
Equipment offered may be different than what is shown on some of the images.
