Constructed of ultra high-modulus C10 carbon with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, the Altamira CX is built for serious cyclocross performance. Fuji’s all-new FC-330 full-carbon fork features a tapered steerer and 12mm thru-axle for increased rigidity and greater steering precision. The flat top tube shape allows for easy shouldering, while an oversized downtube increases torsional stiffness for superior pedaling efficiency. A press-Fit BB86 bottom bracket positions the bearings further apart, increasing overall stiffness, reducing flex, and maximizing power transfer. Asymmetrical, oversized Energy Transfer Chainstays (ETC) offset drivetrain-induced torque by maintaining lateral stiffness, displacing power more evenly through the frame, and deliver greater vibration-dampening properties, all of which aid in improved pedaling efficiency. Flat-mounted disc brake calipers and internal routing eliminate unwanted housing slap, and Challenge Grifo tires supply superior traction on a variety of surfaces.
