Replaced cup and cone to sealed bottom bracket
Replaced solid rear axle with a hollow axle
Replaced black quill stem with a silver one
Replaced straight bars with cruiser style chrome bars
Replaced black seatpost with steel post
Replaced broken cantilevers with another set
Replaced brake shoes
Replaced plastic pedals with shin shredders
Replaced front and rear derailleurs with upgraded Alivio set
Added rear skewer
Added a sourced vintage Specialized gel saddle
Trued wheels
Cleaned and regreased wheel hubs
Cleaned and regreased headset
Cleaned and polished frame(deep blk galaxy paint)
Original 3x6 index thumbies
Kept original gum walls. They have a ton of tread and still have whiskers but the gum walls are dry.
Would make a great pub hopper, city cruiser or adventure bike. A lot of frame boss's for future racks and accessories.
Fun to ride and ready for trouble.
