For sale is a collection of approximately 80 copies of "Man at Arms/Arms Gazette" and "Gun Report" from 1970 to 1978. These magazines are filled with a treasure trove of information relative to antique firearms. These came to me in 2002 from an elderly, long time firearms collector. When pouring through the pages, a great deal of information was gleaned about the antiques I had, those I wanted and those I wanted to properly "smith" or restore. The pages also provide a great deal of history about the origins and use of many of the classics, be they Colt, Winchester, Marlin, Sharps or dozens of other innovators.
I believe that the price is very fair. Hopefully someone out there will purchase them so that I will be assured that the included information is not lost ... replaced with visions of mass produced products of plastic and stainless steel.
What I now find is that I am that elderly firearms collector ... trying to pass on the last of my treasures. If you have an interest in antique firearms, please look for my other Craigslist post on which many firearms related publications are offered.
