Thousands and thousands and thousands of used books, all types (fiction, nonfiction, biographical, historical, art, political, children’s, mystery, westerns, cooking, crafting, some textbooks, etc) at our quarterly used book sale this Saturday and Sunday at Lynn’s Book Barn in Penryn, located at 2166 Swetzer Road (cross street is English Colony). Less than 10 minutes off of Highway 80 at the Penryn exit or 5 mins from old town Loomis. Down the driveway to the white book barn. There is a turnaround behind the barn.

All hardbacks $1 each, all soft/paperbacks 50 cents each (kids’ books half those prices). DVDs, jigsaw puzzles, books on tape/CD and music CDs all 50 cents each. We also have Halloween decor items. DONATIONS are gratefully accepted!

RESELLERS ARE WELCOME!!

What to know: Sale is Saturday and Sunday, September 27 and 28 from 8 am to Noon. No early birds, please. Barn doors open at 8 am. CASH AND CHECK ONLY. We do not have the capability for electronic payments. Barn is unheated and no restrooms on site. Barn is open to the elements and in the country.

The 85-year young property owner has raised over $840,000 in these sales over the last 35 years and 100% of the proceeds go to local animal charities in Placer and Sacramento counties.
