If you’ve been looking for a Boston Whaler that can handle San Francisco Bay chop and still run offshore for Salmon, Halibut or Rockfish, this is it. The 190 Outrage offers more offshore capability than a Montauk but is still easy to tow, launch, and store. I purchased this Whaler in October 2020 in Ohio because this model is hard to find on the West Coast. You won’t find a lot of these in Northern California. I’ve owned a classic Montauk 17 and the Outrage 17. This model outperforms the Classic 17’ Montauk and Outage 17 with more space and better handling in the Bay and Ocean. The 190 Outrage is a great boat for the Rivers, Delta, SF Bay and the Ocean.
