Kailani, aka "Ship Happens" has been ours for the last 5 years and has been good to us as both our on-the-river getaway and adventure anchor-out. We've had her up and down the delta, but she's now at Riverview Marina. She has two 454 gas direct drive engines, and they are at about 1800 hours, and both purr and have never given us trouble. We usually cruise at high idle, but last year had her up to 32 mph with a load of people, water, and fuel, so she still has plenty of power. She has a new (2023) converter, a carb rebuild and impeller on the genset (2025), new bilge blower (2025), new fresh water pump (2025), and new bilge pumps in the forward (2025)bilge, aft (2023) and shower (2024). She has working a working cockpit to include autopilot and radar, and while they're old technology, they work! Even the forward spotlight works, although it will not rotate remotely (just point it forward). She's a beautiful boat that should give her new captain and crew many hours of enjoyment.
