Northstar Canoe, Northwind 16. Aramid layup 42 lbs. This boat is 16.5 feet long, 32 inches beam at the gunwale, and 36 inches max. (Check out the Northstar Canoe website for exact details on specs, loading, and construction of this canoe). This boat is very balanced to paddle, tracks well and turns well. The boat is fun to paddle great for family day trips or camping. There are a few minor cosmetic scratches on the bottom. Sale will include two high quality Bending Branches paddles one 52" 14 deg and one 50" 14 deg. also includes a kneeling pad for solo paddling. Also included is a garage ceiling hoist for storage. (This boat is listed new for about $3400 on the Northstar website and the paddles are about $270 each. So with the kneeling pad and hoist system total value of the package is over $4,000.)
