Sunworks is seeking a Superintendent in the Roseville, CA location within our ACI team to provide on-site coordination of all phases of our commercial solar construction projects.

Responsibilities Include:

Scheduling, inspections, quality control, job site safety and ultimately the supervision of all construction activities
Managing the timely completion of the project and ensuring the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans, building and electrical codes, specifications, and local AHJ requirements
Scheduling all subcontractors, and ensures their completion of work within a designated time frame
Communicating any conflicts or revisions to the original project plan to the project team (i.e. project manager, engineer, architect, consultant, owner) for mutual resolution, prior to execution of work that deviates from the approved plans
Establishing and enforcing job site quality control programs to ensure quality and timely completion of construction
Communicating all requests for monetary agreements to the Director of Operations for consideration prior to work performed
Ensuring the Company's quality program is in place to verify the quality of work and make sure the program meets company and customer specifications
Ensuring all required reports and/or paperwork are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Ensuring employees are trained to perform their jobs adequately and safely
Tracking productivity of employees and subcontractors.
Qualifications Include:

5+ Years of experience as a Supervisor in an electrical/construction related industry; or equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience
HS Diploma required, college degree preferred
Ability to read and understand project plans
Ability to build rapport and interact effectively with personnel at all levels within the Company and with vendors and business partners outside the Company
Ability to provide direction and problem resolution amongst employees, subcontractors and vendors
Ability to identify deficient work and provide timely resolution
Ability to operate and monitor basic office equipment such as fax, postage, and copy machines
Excellent collaboration skills, including the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively and efficiently with a variety of internal team members in a construction type environment;
Legal eligibility to work in the United States
Ability to successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen
