Dress with matching jacket are made of a checkered boucle wool tweed like material, top part has silky feel. Length can be easily changed into a shorter or mini dress for a more updated look. Pair it with boots.
Very unusual aqua color for tweed - this is a one of kind listing with vintage "California Girl" label. Made in USA.
Dress has A-line cut with v-neck, flare collar and side pockets. Jacket is open cardigan style with two front pockets and slight peplum back flare.
Harkens to an era when high quality clothing was made in the U.S.A. - 60s era

Overall in good condition except due to age has one small tear on inside of neck collar which won't show if you wear the collar high. Also has a few age spots in the blue silky material mostly on the inside collar that might be hard to detect in photos. There is some surface wear to the brass colored buttons and some discoloration to inside jacket lining around the underarm pit area. View all photos for overall condition. If you have a seamstress you could change out the top silky bodice and/or replace the inside jacket lining.
