1. Composition -- The coins were struck in 40% silver, making them distinct from the regular circulating Eisenhower Dollars.
2. Design -- The obverse (front) of the coin features a portrait of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and the reverse (back) showcases the Apollo 11 insignia to commemorate the moon landing.
