Autographed on an old left-handed Teemu Riihijarvi hockey stick. I know Teemu Riihijarvi was drafted to the Sharks in 1995, but never played. This was an old practice stick. I think the Sharks just used an old stick of his for a team autograph at a later date.
There are 21 signatures on the stick total.
The autographs I can make out are: #12 Patrick Marleau (1998-2017), #17 Scott Thornton (2000-2006), #22 Scott Hannan (1998-2007), #32 Stephane Matteau (1997-2002), #2 Mike Rathje (1995-2004), & #7 Brad Stuart (1999-2006).
I believe the autographs are likely from the 2001-2002 era because Patrick Marleau changed his number from #14 to #12 in the 2001-2002 season, and Stephane Matteau only played for the Sharks until 2002.
My Dad bought this from a Bay Area, California sportsman/outdoorsman auction when I was a kid. I also have another early 2000’s San Jose Sharks stick for sale that I believe was purchased from the same auction at a slightly different date. It is also posted on CL.
