"According to a 1974 advertisement, “ Beautiful Bonnet furniture, in French provincial style, has a charmingly irresistible look in classic white finish with delicate gold color striping, curvy cabriole legs, and antique metal hardware. Wood-grained plastic laminated tops and center guided in storage pieces.”
This is the original color scheme for this 1970s style with complete original hardware. Ivory with gold tones, lovely and very Hollywood Regency with a touch of class and elegance. Lovely silohuette and elegant lines, bevels and curves.
French Provincial~Southern Dixie style two drawer bedside table (looks like three drawers in photos, but one of the drawers is a double-drawer) nightstand, dresser, or accent side, hallway, foyer or bathroom table. Very handsome design with nice accents such as the curvy, wavy and beveled edges. Antique ivory tone with gold and brass accents and scrolly curly cabriole legs. Solid wood piece, working drawers, one smaller top drawer and one larger bottom drawer (that looks like two). Nicely accented. Backside and bottom of drawers are pressed wood.
Vintage and beautiful piece in the classic French Provincial or Southern Dixie style. Appealing curvy and beveled edges with decorative brass hardware. Available in the original two-tone colors ivory and gold colors. Add a touch of class anywhere it is displayed: entry way, console table, bedside night stand, bedroom vanity area, nightstand, bachelor table, anywhere.
Nightstand is in good sturdy condition. All of the metal hardware is in excellent condition. The inside drawers are very clean and very lightly used as you can see in the photos.
Unique scalloped edges and beveled carvings on the front and the side panels and the beveled curvy and scalloped all around edges provide a touch of flair. These pieces with all of these accents and curvy molding are getting harder to find.
These are getting harder to find, unique and handsome details. This is one of our heaviest "watched" items. This is a vintage piece from the 1970s and has numerous scruffs, scrapes, gouges and nicks. The nightstand can be touched up, given a complete makeover or used as is.
This particular style is featured on Pinterest and that website explains how to refinish Bonnet wood furniture with a wood-grained plastic laminate surface, which is very easy to refinish. Please note that the updated make-over version like the one in photo 10 sell for $489+ each.
