Rare and one of kind vintage piece.
Magical Fairytale folk three arched Tryptic Table or Desk top divider. Vintage piece made of metal and glass. Not sure how the frame is made but appears hand-crafted and hand-hammered because of the unevenness of the metal sheets, especially when viewed from the backside. Front side metalwork has raised multiple swirls and curly cues throughout. Please note panels are hinged and moveable but do not open all the way but are angled as shown in photo. Design is Trifold - 3 Triple Tryptic Arches that slightly move in or out.
Glass panels are lined with a blue midnight blue transparent film with tiny raised gold stars. Overall Hollywood Regency Style. Rare and very hard to find piece and of a very unique and unusual design. Overall lovely piece and the blue color and design is Aladdin Princess Jasmine-style. Can be used, as is, as a divider backdrop for a special collection piece like a buddha or Asian figurine you want to show off. Or can be used as part of an altar or Dia de los Muertos. One of the photos shows how the piece is currently being used in a a bedroom, but this listing does not include the pair of Asian/Mayan statues (however those are for sale separately).
Multiple multi-use piece: This could be turned into a stunning three-way mirror by replacing the film with custom mirror panels and turn your desk or table into a vanity. Or if you're crafty, you could convert into a tryptic three panel photo frame for table or possibly wall-mount (although it is heavy). Alternatively, you can also remove the film and replace with your own new pattern. Could also be used by children for creative make-believe play or with dolls or puppets.
Vintage Tryptic Tri-Fold Triple Arch Mirror Handcrafted Artisan Metal Hinged Table Top Divider. Hollywood Regency Magical Fantasy Fairy Princess theme in overall good structural condition. Zoom into photos to view overall condition and to appreciate the overall texture and metal surface work.
Note: this has the appearance and construction of a handmade, hand-hammered quality, with some space between the back panel in the front. It is not perfectly aligned nor sturdy like a mass produced item. On the back, there are some pieces of scotch tape on the metal and the transparent blue film. When the scotch tape was removed on the blue film it created some patches which gives this piece a distressed shabby chic look. Please reference measurements below and to your imagination go. Appears to be a one of a kind artistic item.
Measures about 16 inches height and 22 inches wide. Metal table top or wall decor, weighs nearly 5 lbs.
Center section measures about 14 5/8" across and 16 1/4" height.
Overall measures about 4" x 16.5" x 26" across in position as shown in photos.

Very unusual piece with a tent shape lid topped off with the lovebirds. Very romantic magical scene of a fairytale prince and princess embracing by a pond with a gazeebo and two swans. Maybe this was custom-made as a wedding or anniversary centerpiece. Very lovely piece, has tiny openings in the ceramic as if to put a light votive or electric socket inside (it has a hole in the back maybe for a wire? Hand etched on bottom numbers "134". As vintage item has some chips that not readily noticeable (because they blend into the background). Zoom into photos to see amazing details.
