Hi, I’m a 19-year-old mom with a 3-month-old baby, and I’m currently trying to leave a difficult and unsafe living situation.
I’ve been taking steps to get back on my feet and have made some progress. I’ve been approved for an apartment, have a job starting soon, and have arranged childcare so I can work. I’ve also been able to save some money toward moving.
Right now, I’m trying to figure out the last steps to safely transition into stable housing for myself and my daughter. If anyone has advice, knows of local resources, or programs that help with move-in costs, I would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
I’m especially looking for guidance on any assistance programs, community support, or organizations that help young mothers in situations like this. I am on a waitlist for housing but got approved for a 1 bedroom apartment in Arden but I’m short the deposit if anyone could help the 1st months fee I’m short
