Hi! I have a small consulting and bookkeeping business, and am in desperate need of a personal assistant and assistant bookkeeper. This will be out of my home in S. Roseville, I'm almost to Citrus Heights right on the border of CH/Roseville off of Sunrise. I have a cute, small, clean house and you'll be working on a laptop at my dining room table. (If I choose you for an interview, I'll send you my linked in and facebook account, so you can see that I'm not a weirdo... we will meet at a Starbucks for an interview if you're chosen)
YOU choose the days and hours... about 5-10 hours a week - give or take. If you need to reschedule, it's okay! If you're sick - it's okay! If you want to work a weekend instead of a weekday - it's okay! I just need as much notice as possible.
This is a VERY flexible job, a little extra $$ for you, extra HELP for me!
This will be a 1099 subcontractor position and you WILL receive a 1099 at the end of the year.
PLEASE be outgoing, confident, talkative, and cheery. I will sometimes need help with marketing.
PLEASE KNOW QUICKBOOKS/BOOKKEEPING. IF you don't, please don't apply. Even if it's just basics... entering invoices, bills, payments, deposits, etc. I'd love it if you knew how to accurately reconcile. A small test will be given. I primarily use QuickBooks Online.
Some duties (include, but not limited to...)
*helping me with my client's QuickBooks accounts (PRIVACY and CONFIDENTIALITY are a MUST!) duties will include entering each line item and coding correctly from their bank statements, entering invoices, checks, etc. etc. reconciling is a plus!
*helping me with creative writing and marketing
*vacuuming my house (it's small)
*loading/unloading my dishwasher
*picking up my child from school/friend's houses (13 years old)
*helping with client binder organization
*helping me with expanding my business, posting ads, posting business cards at various locations, bringing gift baskets to surrounding businesses, etc.
*organizing MY business! My own bookkeeping is a bit of a mess!
