💚 General Description

A Pet Pros Team Member is responsible for providing outstanding service by engaging guests in a friendly, knowledgeable way to help them find healthy solutions for their pets. This position supports both the sales floor and store operations in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• 🛒 Deliver excellent guest service to grow sales and strengthen customer relationships

• 👋 Greet every guest and engage in meaningful conversation to understand their needs

• 🧠 Learn and demonstrate knowledge of Pet Pros’ product offerings and promotions

• 💬 Educate customers on our loyalty and savings programs

• 💳 Accurately perform sales transactions using the point-of-sale system

• 🧾 Follow procedures for opening, closing, and end-of-day duties, including bank deposits

• 🧹 Maintain store cleanliness, product facing, stock rotation, and merchandising standards

• 📦 Support inventory tasks such as receiving, restocking, and inter-store transfers

• 📚 Attend staff meetings and training sessions to support continuous learning

• 🔧 Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned

💪 Physical Requirements

• 🚶 Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday

• 📦 Ability to lift and carry up to and over 45 pounds regularly

• 👀 Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition

📋 Job Requirements

• 🎓 High school diploma or GED

• 🛍️ Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably in the pet industry

• 💻 Familiarity with point-of-sale and inventory control systems preferred

• ⏰ Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings

• 🚗 Occasional travel to nearby stores, meetings, or events may be required

• Must have open weekend availability
