Tree Service Coordinator

BP Tree Services

compensation: $27-$35/hr
employment type: full-time
experience level: entry level
job title: Service Coordinator
Who we are:
Local Sacramento based, tree service company.

What were looking for:
The right “person”ality for the job! This position wears a lot of hats within our company. You must enjoy helping our company run smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, primarily via phone call. We need you to be personable, have phone presence, and be trainable in our business. Don't worry- all training is provided- presuming you know the basics of computers, phone functions and current technologies. Besides that, we can train the right individual for the specifics of job and industry. To show me that you can pay attention to detail, please change the subject line of your response email to "orange". Note, only emailed responses will be read.

What we offer:
• We pay our Service Coordinators a competitive wage of $27-$35 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime opportunities available.

Ideal candidate:
• Will always maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor. You will lead our team by example, and they will look to you for guidance and advice.
• Be accurate in what YOU type! Errors are costly mistakes here.
• Be adaptable to technologies. It's always changing you know!
• Open/Flexible availability. Primarily M-F are our general business hours from 7:00AM-5:00PM, overtime is sometimes required, and we cannot always give advance notice when it will be needed, as our services are "need based" and urgency can fluctuate.
• Sparkling.. Razzling.. Dazzling.. personality. The ability to fluidly laugh, sell us and connect with people over the phones is key to this role. You will be answering questions, logging requests for deliveries, setting appointments and helping follow through with all the tasks that need to take place to complete a job. While you're not the only point of contact available, once you make contact, we try to route that client to you for the remainder of their experience with us and have you manage their project and keep that connection going with them : ) This will include scheduling, project updates, being point person for that client not only until their payment has cleared and their job has closed, but for seasonal need-based follow ups as well.
• You will play a huge role in the important day-to-day functions of our company. Nothing will get by you as you make sure all the dispatching, scheduling, and assigning of work order service requests for our customers happen promptly and correctly.

More Detailed Job Description:
• Our office team completes a variety of important tasks, including answering phone calls, providing support to our service staff, managing new work orders, assisting with proposals, and entering work order and service call information into our computer system.
• You will be the point person for interpersonal relations with customers. These relationships ships can be short lived estimates or long term customers. It’s your job to make a positive impression every interaction. You must be educated in our business, industry, and willing to take the time to follow through with everyone.
• Ability to read and interpret field service work orders as well as determine and implement the appropriate course of action. Decisions cost money.
• This candidate will work closely with our small sales team to provide support to the common goal at all times. This includes daily conference calls with yesterday's sales reviews (short sessions <15min). They will continue to work closely throughout project completion.
• The basics of the job are customer service and record-keeping based. Our CRM software will help you manage the rest with ease. Clients will speak with you to set an appointment, you will route a technician for a site assessment, the techs will attempt to sell any home-services needed while onsite and provided a written estimate of those recommendations to the client (and you), from that point the technician will pass the client file back to you to manage. Managing might be scheduling the project and coordinating all tools, supplies, permits/contracts, dotting all i's and crossing all t's... or it could be remaining in contact with the client and trying to mitigate their "no" responses until they are ready to schedule... or if it's a loss, perhaps you'll be able to pursue a future contract at a later date based on information you’ve gathered.
• Various clerical tasks to include but not limited to: maintaining sales supplies, writing delivery orders, scanning, e-filing, maintain vendor packets, maintain customer files, support field crew as needed with documents, help with clients (bilingual Spanish/English a plus).
• In addition to administrative tasks, you also regularly correspond with vendors and keep their accounts straight by efficiently maintaining their files, responding to their inquiries, and researching and resolving vendor packet discrepancies

Note: Background checks and references required. If you've read this far, tell me what typo is in the last bullet point; along with why you would be great for this job!
  • Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this job poster.
