I'm sick of cars. I paid a lot more than $35K for it and also had about $10K worth of work done to it to include, new gas tank, new exhaust, new wiring from dash forward, new 97 carbs., the good ones that are made in England not the crap that Speedway sells, had the starter rebuilt along with the power gen. It has an 8CM Merc. flathead with a 39 Ford 3 speed. Aftermarket key in column so it's a floor shift not a column shit. Beautiful black paint and saddle brown leather interior. As you can tell from the pictures it looks like it was a ground up build, with all new hardware. I've had it for 3 years and probably only put a couple hundred miles on it.

The second picture is the ad that was in the Jalopy Journal when I bought the car and the third picture is of the work I had done to it after buying it.
The bad on the car, fiberglass rear fenders, which I wasn't told about upon purchase of the car. Bought it off a member of the Jalopy Journal so you would think everything would be above board. It smokes out of the right bank. I had a leak down test down and it showed, from front to back left bank, 92%, 82%, 92% 92%. Front to back on the right bank, 94%, 96&, 92%, 82%. It has low oil pressure, 25 lb. and drops when idle after warming up. The left front tire has a slow leak, takes a few weeks for it to go low. It's never been completely flat. I took the tire and wheel into the tire shop but they couldn't find the leak so I have a new tube that will go with the car to fix the leak problem.
I'm no mechanic and I can't afford to pay the $100-$150 an hour shops charge so I'd rather just cut my losses and sell it.
The 40 plates don't go with the car nor does the license plate frame or the shift knob, which I had made in honor of my father who was a bombardier on a B-17 during WWII. I'll replace it with another.
I want $35K, no offers, no trades, no help selling. Will not answer messages, "is this still for sale", if it's listed it's still for sale.
